We have been incredibly busy the last month or so. Not only have we had numerous sessions with our wonderful clients...we have been busy at home, too.
Hannah Beth's AYSO Fall soccer team, the Cyclones made the playoffs. The girls did good. No wins, but you win and lose as a team. Then Hannah was chosen for the All-Star team. That meant 2 weeks of nightly practice. We were leaving the house @ 8am and getting back home @ 8pm. Last weekend they attended the Carson Tournament. Again, no wins but a tie and some losses. We have told Hannah it is all a good experience just to be able to go. She is getting better and better. Ray and I love to watch Hannah play. She is so competitive! This week brought around tryouts for a club team. Hannah's fall coach has a team, and encouraged her to tryout. Hannah put 100% into the tryouts and really did good. We found out Thursday that she made the team!!! She is SO excited.
In the meantime, Connor Ray had his last few practices and games of flag football. This was his first year playing, and he really improved as the season went on. He and his dad play catch as much as they can! Connor's team was the Seahawks, so now he has a Seahawks football and beanie. :) The season ended with a win and their record was only one loss. We just signed Connor up for basketball which will start in January. This will be his second year in basketball. Over the summer he attended a b-ball day camp at the high school and really enjoyed it.
We also had our second 4H Cooking Club Meeting. We made Thanksgiving Stuffing and Aunt Suzie's Potatoes. There were 13 kids at this meeting. We all had a great time! Next month, I think it will be cookies... yum!
All the while Connor Ray and Hannah Beth are both pulling in straight A's! Yeah!!!
This is Hannah's soccer photo and Connor's football photo for the season...
I feel so blessed to be involved in my children's lives. It is exciting to watch them try new things and love them!
Love you Hannah and Connor!

Again, time seems to have gotten away from me! I cannot believe it has been so long in between posts! I will make this a personal post and update with work stuff on Monday...
We have been so busy lately- with work and at home...
Hannah Beth is playing soccer, is in SSA @ school, and is part of three different 4H clubs! Try to fit all of that in with normal everyday things like riding horses, reading, talking with friends and homework!
Connor Ray is busy , too. He is playing flag football and is in two 4H clubs. He plays catch, rides his bike, plays with Lego's and cars and then has homework!
Ray is working all the time and then comes home and does projects around the house. In the last few weeks he has run electricity to our tackroom, put up outside lights and indoorr lighting. Built shelves for the boys "workroom". Recreated some lamps by cutting and painting them. Glued misc. items that broke in the move. Moved the horses pens around. Stacked and covered hay (his favorite). Used the blower to clean up around the house. I appreciate each thing he has done and hope he knows it! I love to see him working around the house again and enjoying it! :)
I have been doing sessions, proofing and getting orders out. Ray and I are doing the yearbook again this year. I became a 4H Cooking Club leader and LOVE it! In my spare time I take the kids to their events and work in the classroom! We have also been going to church on a more regular basis and I am so thankful!
I have been trying to be diligent about the gym and it payed off last month I lost 3.5% body fat! I reached the goal that our trainer set in July! I have to say that I am glad I did the measurements! I did not realize how much progress I had made this month and would have never known had I not had them! Thank you Ginger for pushing and dragging me all the way!
I will be posting some portraits from an awesome wedding that we are doing this weekend and some specials on Monday!

I AM… a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a child of God.
I WANT…to be a better person.
I HAVE… wonderful children.
I KEEP… way too many photos on my hard drive.
I WISH I COULD… be content and more organized.
I HATE…bad customer service.
I FEAR… the day my children don’t want to cuddle anymore.
I HEAR…my children laughing.
I DON’T THINK… life should be stressful.
I REGRET… not making more time for friends.
I LOVE… my family, my job and our life!
I AM NOT… going to get to bed early!
I DANCE… rarely…
I SING…in the comfort of my car, when no one else is around.
I NEVER… go without shaving my legs.
I RARELY… wake up before my alarm.
I CRY WHEN I WATCH… sad movies.
I AM NOT ALWAYS… as “put together” as I’d like to be.
I HATE THAT…I do not have any mint and chip ice cream!!
I AM CONFUSED ABOUT…how to live on a budget!!
I NEED… to take my kids portraits.
I SHOULD… go to the gym tomorrow.

Last week Hannah Beth and I spent the week with Debbie and Katelyn @ Hunewill Ranch. Hannah Beth and Princess Katelyn have been friends since they were 3 years old. While they became friends so did Debbie (Princess Katelyn's Mommy) and I. I adore Debbie. She is one of few friends that can always be counted on, is forever consistent, never pretentious, always listening, has wonderful advice and leads through faith. We can pick up right where we left off after not seeing each other for months. I LOVE her!
This was our second trip out to Hunewill Ranch for a vacation. All of us went last fall for the Fall Color Ride. Although both trips were great, this week was wonderful. There was so much more for the girls to do. There was square dancing, hay rides, bingo, talent night, roping, swimming in the ditch, playing flash light tag, volleyball, making new friends, holding the baby goats, seeing the horses stampede through the yard in the early am, s'mores and campfire songs. The riding was fabulous. The Wranglers were awesome, well most of them :). Miss. Sallie was of course fabulous! The fields were full of wild flowers. The food was, as always, yummy. Hannah Beth and I even had matching horses! One of the high-lights for the girls was riding in the parade. For Debbie and I the high-light was probably all of the relaxation and friendship.
Thank you Debbie for another wonderful vacation and our wonderful friendship!

I just cannot believe that Mother Nature would do this to me... I enjoyed 97 degree weather this weekend, and then woke up to blowing snow this morning! What is going on and what is she thinking? It is MAY! Clearly, she is in a state of confusion. Which actually seems to happen a lot on this side of the Sierras. I really miss So. California weather- especially on days like this. Unfortunately- I was in such a state of disbelief that I didn't take any photos of the white stuff. Not that I really want to remember it! ;)
Have a great day- somewhere warm!

Well, last week- I composed a wonderful post all about my upcoming trip to Yosemite. I have NO idea where that post went! It, I am sure is somewhere in cyberspace. I will make a feeble attempt to reconstruct it now. Actually, I will not reconstruct it, I will start all over and go another direction. Thats just the kind of girl I am.
I had the pleasure this last weekend of attending a workshop with my good friend Robyn. We went to Yosemite and had a relaxing weekend full of photo opportunities. We left the hotel at 6 am each morning- not so good for me. I am not really a morning person. Although, the light was beautiful! We did not get back to the hotel most nights, until 10 pm. I AM a night person, so this was okay.
We had lots of girl talk and funny moments. I am SO glad that Robyn didn't fall- I love you Robyn! Robyn and I are both quite graceful, so we were sure that at any moment one of us was going to have to be rescued. Thank God we both came back unscathed- well almost! ;)
I will post some of the amazing photos in the next couple of days. In the meantime here are a few from a couple of years ago. I took a day trip with my kids and some of my nieces and nephews. Keep in mind these are just snap shots.
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
