I just love all of these fall family sessions! Lincoln Military Housing has offered a gift to all of their residents and I love being a part of it! It is just a small way in which we can give back and show how very thankful we are for all of their service! 

This is the first family that came out for some photos...They are all incredibly good looking and so very sweet. I just LOVE Lizzie! She made me giggle throughout the entire shoot! She is SO adorable!

...Emily...

Loving all of the fall sessions lately! Haven't had too much time to blog , but wanted to show off this session.

For Emily's senior session, we went to some of her very favorite places in Twin Lakes. I think we timed it just about perfect. From what I hear, most of the leaves were blown away within the next few days! I am always taken aback by the beauty of the Twin Lakes area. It is so breathtaking. Such a sense of peacefulness. Emily is a quiet girl of few words. She loves volleyball and is a senior at CHS.Emily had scoped out which trees looked the best, where she wanted to sit and everything! While we walked to various locations, she would say things like "I used to play here as a little girl" or "I like to come and sit here to think". I love being able to document special places in peoples lives.

...Rebecca...

I had so much fun with this session! Virginia City has so much to offer! We found lots of great little niches and awesome colors. The old buildings have a ton of character. I just love walking around and checking out all the little nooks and crannies. 

Rebecca is a DHS senior and is looking to go to college with a softball scholarship. I think she holds the record for the most "fans" at a session. She brought her mom, her dad, her sister and her boyfriend! They were all very helpful in making sure we got a "real" smile! I loved Becca's choices for clothing and props. We had 2 fabulous dresses, a very cute fall ensemble, a cowgirl outfit (she did junior rodeo), a Harley (what a great prop) and we even included a fire truck! After exploring the town of VC we went out a bit and found a little more natural setting. Becca was stunning, she made it hard to narrow down the photo for proofing!

...Nik...

I am loving our fall weather! Definitely not ready for winter yet. I know its coming but am so thankful it has waited a little bit longer this year. I actually wish it Old Man Winter would just visit other places this year...He could skip Minden altogether! Nice beautiful days like today make me happy!

For Nik's senior session we drove up to Mill Canyon and found lots of places to stop and take photos. It had snowed the weekend before so we even found a little bit of the white stuff hanging around. Nik is into snow boarding, hanging out with his friends and he volunteers at the Antelope Valley Volunteer Fire Dept...check out that helmet.

...Karah...Spanish Springs 2010 Senior Spokesmodel...

We just did a fall session with our senior spokesmodel Karah! I LOVE all of her clothes and want to go shopping with her! No really, she has fabulous taste! Her clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories were fantastic! So...next time you go shopping Karah, call me!

For this session we met at San Rafael Park in Reno. I was amazed by all of the beautiful settings in the park. Being fairly new to the area, I just love it when clients show me new places. It was a wonderful setting for fall portraits. The yellows, red and oranges were oh so vibrant!
